K Street Kate Recaps LWM DC Launch Party
Thank you to the National Foundation of Women Legislators and everyone else who helped make last Wednesday's DC launch of You've Come A Long Way, Maybe a smashing success! Blogger Kate Michael of K Street Kate has a great recap of the night's festivities:
"Last night's book bash was a celebration of Leslie Sanchez and her smart-take on female politics. No pantsuits here, though Leslie certainly had something to say about them! The regular CNN contributor's most recent hardback release ("You've Come a Long way, Maybe") is an exploration of the roles of women in politics, with a particular emphasis on Sarah Palin, Hilary Clinton and Michelle Obama's roles in the 2008 election. You'll see her talk more about the book on an upcoming episode of The District Dish, so this focus is on the fete."
